I have thought about this for two years. My grandmother had been slowly dying and I want a memory of her. Yes I know it lasts forever but I want her memory to live on, not just in words. All I want is R.I.P., her name, and her birth year and death year. No flowers or ornaments. She did it when my grandfather passed in 1979. She got a tattoo with his name and birth year and death year and she got R.I.P. written at the top. All I want to do is carry on her tradition.

I’ve been doing everything I’m supposed to to take care of it; however, it is simply impossible for me to keep it out of the pool for two weeks. I am a swimmer and the first practice of the summer season is on Tuesday (four days from now).
I really don’t want the tattoo to fade or have anything nasty happen.
