Is February a good month for getting a tattoo?
Wednesday, November 21st, 2007Beach Bum asked:
I am planning on getting a tattoo when I turn 18 which is next February and I don’t know if that is a good time of year to get one. I know that it is better to get a tattoo when you are not out in the sun and during the month of February I am usually inside. I don’t really go out when I am in School but when summer hits I am outside 24/7.

Does anyone know a reputable tattoo studio in the central Michigan area that will apply UV tattoos?

I have a design for a UV (blacklight) tattoo that I would really like to get done. I definitely can’t afford it right now, but I thought it would be a good idea to start looking around at studios. I would like any advice if you have had a good experience with a shop, or places to stay away from. I live in Alma, so I’m looking for something in the central Michigan area.

Does rubbing Vaseline on a tattoo after the two week healing period have any effects to the tattoo?
Thursday, November 15th, 2007indie asked:
I have heard that using Vaseline on a new tattoo can draw out the ink. My question is after two week healing period, does using vaseline on a tattoo have any effects or cause any problems? I mean even if you rub it in very hard and cover the tattoo with a lot of Vaseline. Is it OK?
Thanks!

How to keep a tattoo looking great for as long as possible?
Monday, November 12th, 2007Kim B asked:
I have 5 tattoo’s and 2 large ones on my forearms. I know that staying out of the sun will help keep them looking good, but I had someone tell me that even if you go out in the sun as long as you put regular lotion on after being out in the sun you won’t lose color. I tend to forget sunscreen (bad bad bad.) Does anyone know if the regular lotion trick is true?

Is there a law that keeps you from buying a tattoo matchine and tattooing yourself or your friends?

Would a tattoo decrease my chances of getting a job?

I’m about to get my masters in film production and I have a tattoo on my arm below my elbow. It’s definitely noticeable and I’m not planning on hiding it, because I’d **** to wear long sleeve shirts everyday.
The tattoo is not inappropriate. its a portrait tattoo of my grandfather.
