I’m going on friday to get a tattoo, and a piercing, so I need to know how much would be good for a tip.

I have heard that using Vaseline on a new tattoo can draw out the ink. My question is after two week healing period, does using vaseline on a tattoo have any effects or cause any problems? I mean even if you rub it in very hard and cover the tattoo with a lot of Vaseline. Is it OK?

I know that staying out of the sun will help keep them looking good, but I had someone tell me that even if you go out in the sun as long as you put regular lotion on after being out in the sun you won’t lose color. I tend to forget sunscreen (bad bad bad.) Does anyone know if the regular lotion trick is true?
