How can I be professional while asking for a tattoo apprenticeship?

I really want to get a tattoo apprenticeship this summer, but I haven’t started asking because I have no idea how to do about it. I have started a portfolio, but that’s about it. Do I call first and ask if it’s even a possibility? Do I walk in? What do I wear? etc. Thanks for your help?

What is your experience with tattoo on your foot?

I am not new to tattoos so I am not gonna ask “does it hurt?”…..LOL but I am considering getting a tattoo on my foot. I am assuming it will be more painful the the rest of my tattoos but I am curious if anybody has a foot tattoo if it keeps well. I have heard a tattoo on the foot is more prone to not turning out as well.

How can I persuade my parents to let me get a tattoo?

I have been thinking about a tattoo, but I am not going to get a stupid tattoo that means nothing. I am going to get one on my left pectoral (over my heart) for a family member, but I do not know how to persuade my parents (I am 16). Any suggestions?
The tattoo would be for a desist relative, not just a stupid idea…
